100% natural organic Earl Grey tea

Lord Charles Marmot Grey is said to have dipped a slice of bergamot into his black tea for a treat... do you see what we're getting at?

That's right, it's the only tea we've been missing - the great classic, the tea-time staple: Earl Grey tea!

Our brewmasters have made this popular blend their own, combining the strength of black tea with the subtly tart notes of genuine Italian bergamot.

In this recipe, Earl Grey tea doesn't owe its taste to artificial flavourings, natural flavourings or essential oils: just to this real little citrus fruit, renowned for its strong-smelling zest.

Fancy trying our version of organic Earl Grey tea? To complete this new twist on a classic blend and give it our special marmot's touch, our brewmasters have also added a touch of cardamom. A unique tea!

Health benefits

The mysterious bergamot, born of a cross between a lemon and a bitter orange, has a strange puffy appearance and loves to make a splash: with a more pronounced flavour than a lemon, it reveals a powerful citrus taste when its zest is infused.

Whether you like morning tea or Five O'Clock tea, add a splash of milk!

Tasting details

An elegant amber-brown colour with coppery highlights.

On the nose, a fine, bewitching fragrance when you open the sachet.

When tasted, the strength of the black tea blends harmoniously with the soft, light notes of the bergamot to create a particularly rounded, well-balanced drink. The initial notes of black tea gradually give way to the aromatic sweetness of real bergamot, which coats the palate. A subtle, slightly spicy hint of cardamom appears on the tongue to finish.

When should you drink Earl Grey tea?

There's no time like the present to enjoy an Earl Grey! By the way, if you're sensitive to theine, it's best to avoid drinking black tea late at night. Earl Grey tea, on the other hand, is ideal for breakfast and afternoon tea. It's also the perfect tea to kick off a tea party and dream of being lords and ladies...
